drove up to hatta
almost dipped in the mountain pool
but apparently someone just forgot to bring a towel (wat an excuse!)
will plan for another trip when someone comes again!

had a company get together in Daventry, Birmingham
but silly me lost my camera and found it after the event
off to london, hang out with feddy, got together wit nana, bar hopping with the ladies & paul in conjuction with urs truly pre-birthday celebration!!!
took a train to beeston (nottingham) knock myself silly with eena & misya, ate like i've never eaten before, stuffed myself with eena's homemade pastries, nasi lemak, muffins, pastries ... i felt good!
rushed back to londres, lepak @ sumai's and next morning flew back to dubai!!
......... and only after that i realized, shootz ... omar is in londres???

woke up early and had a morning stroll along the area, hoping i wud reach marina mall by just walking ..
hikhik silly me la kan, with the weather being so cold & my toes were numb from the cold lagi mau berangan jalan kaki!!
nways end up back @ ibrahims apartment & got mself a car pool there to Seef Mall .. which is apparently was the biggest & hippest shopping mall in Bahrain i was told .. verdict of the mall?? lets just say cam PKNS Shah Alam but with more well known stores & shops 
After that persisted the car pool guy to take me to THE TREE OF LIFE (Shajarat al-Hayah) a 400-year old mesquite tree in Bahrain which is considered a natural wonder. This unique tree stands alone in the desert about 1.2 miles (two kilometers) from the Jebel Dukhan. The source of water for this tree still remains a mystery.
Stop over at an old Bahrain’s Riffa Fort (Shaikh Salman Bin Ahmed Al Fateh Fort) located in modern day West Riffa. Shaikh Salman Bin Ahmed Al Fateh Fort, known as Riffa Fort is distinguished for its important strategic location and was built on a simple reef in the low desert area lying between the ancient Riffa settlement and the modern day West Riffa.
Final stop was Tubli for some pics.Tubli Bay is an inshore coastal area situated in the north-east of Bahrain. It is characterised by its unique ecology as it provides a habitat for important coastal ecosystems, such as mangroves and seagrass. It is the only place in Bahrain with an ecological interaction between mangroves, seagrass and corals. Did not see any corals there though!!
Headed back to the flat, packed my stuff, dragged my luggage over to Ali's, had tea with his family while waiting for Azmil & family to send me off to the airport.
Overall the visit was fantastic but i bet there are lots more wonderful ancient places to explore.

woke up with a bad cold which surprisingly did not last long .. (and dlm hati berkata thank god ada hot water) cos it was like 6 degrees and the flat doesnt have a heater to keep me warm!!
nways, did a lil touring around ibrahim's (tuan punye studio apartment yg balik msia) area but since the cold was killing me i decided to crash @ ali hassan's flat for some delicious hari raya delicacies & snuggle up on the warm sofa & warm myself next to the heater hikhik
the food was wonderful, the company was gr8 (esp the kids) and the house was warm & comfy!!
was there the whole day since morning & around 8pm we headed to Asrul's house for some more hari raya delicacies there.

Bahrain, a group of 33 islands, with an area of 707 square kilometres, is situated in the Arabian Gulf, off the east coast of Saudi Arabia.
The state takes its name from the largest island Bahrain, which is 586.5 square kilometres. It is linked by causeways to Muharraq (international airport) and Sitra (industrial area and tank-farm). There are numerous other tiny islands, but they are mainly uninhabited and are best known for the variety of migrating birds which pass through in spring and autumn.
after a series of setback, i finally manage to find the right time to visit Bahrain ..
real reason behind the visit?
just needed time to ''relax'' & ''get my life back on track''
but i guess, i'm back on SQUARE ONE
